Robert Frank

Robert Frank was born in Switzerland in 1924.He traveled across the united states on a Guggenheim fellowship in 1955 and 1956. The result was the Americans ,a book strongly influenced by walker evans but imbued with more evident emotion, more social commentary, sense of tragedy, and irony.Writing in the Guardian in 2014, said The Americans "changed the nature of photography, what it could say it.Frank later expanded into film and video and experimented with manipulating photographs and photo montage. He returned to still images in the 1970s,publishing his second photographic book, The lines of my hand, in 1972.I like this photo because he caught the guy in action he knows how to take good photos. He made the photo tell a story and that really exciting. His photos have great impressions and good coordinates of the photo.
